The SSA-PLUS by AT2E is the automated model of the Secure Seal Analyzer. One button starts the complete inspection, with automatic piercing, process control and leak detection. It comes in two versions: neck piercing for plastic bottles, aluminum bottles and easy open cans, and top piercing for glass bottles.

How the test works

One-button start: piercing, process control and leak detection run automatically.

Programmable cycle: pressure, pressurizing rate and holding time can be set in up to 12 stages, from 0 to 16.00 bar.

Automatic or manual mode: both testing modes are available.

Real-time monitoring: the screen shows the real-time pressure and the pressure holding time, and the test curve can be reviewed after the cycle.

SSA-PLUS-P: neck piercing

For soft materials such as plastic bottles, aluminum bottles and easy open cans. With neck piercing, no operation is required on the cap, which avoids the influences introduced during handling and improves the reliability of the data. A specialized leak detection unit detects even micro-leakage accurately.

SSA-PLUS-G: top piercing

For rigid materials such as glass bottles. The piercing device designed by AT2E allows automated installation, and by vacuum technology the needle holds itself on the tested product. The pressure-differential method assists the automatic leak detection.
