Burst Testing Aerosol Cans up to 40 bar with the ACBT-1
Updated: 6 days ago
The ACBT-1 Aerosol Can Burst Tester by AT2E tests the internal pressure resistance of 3-piece and mono-block aerosol cans. One test records the deformation of the cone, the deformation of the dome and the burst pressure, up to 40 bar.
How the test works
Install the can sample under the affusion head and seal the sample.
Close the safety door and press the start button.
The affusion head fills the sample automatically and starts to pressurize once the can is full.
The sample is pressurized until the cone deforms, then until the dome deforms, then until the can bursts.
The deformation and burst values are recorded automatically and displayed on the screen.
Pressurizing stops; open the door and take out the sample.
