The PBBT-2 PET Bottle Burst Strength Tester is specialised equipment for measuring the internal pressure resistance of PET bottles. It follows the three most commonly used international test methods, so users can select the method that best suits their needs. The PBBT-2 can test resilience under a set pressure or run a burst test to failure. By reproducing pressurisation, it faithfully simulates the back-pressure filling process, showing how the bottle withstands sudden pressure. Once a test program is selected, the cycle starts automatically according to the settings, and the touch screen shows pressure in real time while recording the maximum and burst pressures. An optional water-recycling system saves water and avoids the unstable tap-water pressure that can affect results; an additional temperature-control unit allows tests in water at a controlled temperature, and an optional booster removes the need for a high-pressure source.
