Insert the corkscrew manually into the cork
Install the bottle on the support and secure it with the neck clamp.
Attach the corkscrew to the dynamometer
Raise the lever linearly until the plug is completely extracted.
The maximum force measured will be displayed on the dynamometer.

The CET-1 Cork Extraction Tester is a device for measuring the insertion or extraction force of various items such as bottle corks. It is very easy to use. The CET comes with a corkscrew but can also accommodate numerous adapters for different types of tests.
The CET-1 includes a lever that allows for sufficiently repeatable tensile or compression tests.
It also meets the test standard for cork extraction tests.
