Description
The SCT-PLC Stress Cracking Tester assesses the stress-crack resistance of PET packaging, mainly blown bottles for carbonated drinks. Bottles are pressurized and their bases immersed in a caustic soda (aqueous sodium hydroxide) solution inside a safety enclosure, so their long-term ageing can be estimated.
