The PATT-1 Pop and Tear Tester is a simple solution for inspecting easy-open ends. It measures the pop (tear) and pull force of various easy-open types, with multiple test modes, and is already used in the can and food industries. The PATT-1 features a high-definition touchscreen; combined with our easy-to-use software, it is very simple and pleasant to operate. The operator just fits the sample, positions the hook and presses start. During the test the PATT-1 automatically detects the forces and displays curves and statistics on screen in real time, and the data can be transferred to a computer for further analysis.
