Description :

The POT-1 was developed to test pull-off caps while respecting each stage of the operation. It features a precision force gauge and semi-automatic cycles for better test reproducibility, with an adjustable angle at each stage. It is designed to accommodate different bottle sizes.

Options:

Use :

- Install the hook in the capsule ring and the wire in the lower pulley.

- Activate the pneumatic valve using the handle to carry out the first “stretching” step. This step will be carried out at stable speed for better measurement.

- Change the wire to the upper pulley (this position is set at 45° but can be modified)

- Activate the pneumatic valve again using the handle to achieve the “stretch 2” second. This step will be carried out at stable speed for better measurement.

- Return the handle to the initial position to finish the test.

FAQ

What is the primary function of the POT-1 pull-off tester?
The POT-1 integrates a precision dynamometer with a semi-automatic cycle to test pull-off/tear-off force on closures across different bottle sizes, with an adjustable pull angle at each step.

What measurement modes does the POT-1 support?
The POT-1 supports continuous, peak, and PC-link measurement modes, with traction and compression measurement and ±0.05 N accuracy (depending on range).

How is a test performed on the POT-1?
On the POT-1, the operator actuates a pneumatic valve via handle to perform the first stretch step at constant speed, repositions the wire on the upper pulley (default 45°, adjustable), performs a second stretch step, then returns the handle to finish the test.

What capacity and connectivity does the POT-1 offer?
The POT-1 requires 0-6 bar air supply, weighs 15 kg, and transfers data and test curves to external systems.
