· Hose: Φ6mm

· Bottle/can height: min. 40mm, max. 380 mm

· Bottle / can diameter: max. 110 millimeters

· Pressure requirement: 0 - 2 bar

· Dimensions: 130 X 465 mm (Diam x H)

· Weight: 2kg

Description :

The BSD Beverage Sampling Device pierces and samples bottled or canned products. Operation is very simple: connect the pressurisation hose to the pressure source, place the drink on the base and lift the handle to pierce the sample. Lower the needle to the bottom of the sample, then open the tap to raise the pressure in the sample's headspace; the liquid then flows into the measuring instrument connected alongside. Various analyses are possible depending on the instrument you connect. Mainly used in the beer and soft-drinks industries.

FAQ

What is the primary function of the BSD-1 Beverage Sampling Device?
The BSD-1 samples products directly from bottles or cans by pressurizing the headspace and directing liquid into a connected analysis instrument, primarily used in beer and carbonated beverage industries.

How does the BSD-1 work?
On the BSD-1, the operator connects a pressurization tube, installs the beverage on the base, and raises the handle to pierce the container. Lowering the needle to the sample bottom and opening the valve forces the liquid into the connected analysis instrument through headspace pressure.

What analysis instruments is the BSD-1 compatible with?
The BSD-1 connects to CO2 analyzers, O2 sensors, and other beverage analysis instruments, making it compatible with multiple analytical setups without requiring dedicated sampling hardware for each.
