AD-1 / AD-2
Automatic Degasser
Technical characteristics :
Description :
The AD-series Automatic Degasser, developed by AT2E, rapidly removes residual CO₂ from carbonated soft drinks so the degassed samples can be tested. It comprises a degassing unit and a vacuum pump, and the stirring time can be adjusted to suit the sample.

FAQ
What is the primary function of the AD-1 and AD-2 Automatic Degassers?
The AD-1 and AD-2 are automatic degassers developed by AT2E for quick degassing of dissolved CO2 gas in carbonated beverages - beer, sodas, and sparkling water - in order to prepare samples for subsequent quality control testing. Both consist of a degassing unit and a vacuum pump that exhausts the released CO2 from the test chamber.
What is the difference between the AD-1 and AD-2?
The AD-1 uses a mechanical stirring system to release dissolved CO2, with adjustable stirring time based on sample characteristics. The AD-2 uses ultrasonic vibration instead of stirring, which releases CO2 more rapidly and makes the AD-2 faster and more compact than the AD-1.
What sample specifications do the AD-1 and AD-2 support?
Both the AD-1 and AD-2 accommodate samples with temperatures from 5°C to 40°C and volumes from 400 to 1,200 ml. Testing time is adjustable up to 9,999 seconds on both units, and both run on 110V or 220V power.
In which industries are the AD-1 and AD-2 used?
The AD-1 and AD-2 are used primarily in breweries, carbonated soft drink production, and sparkling water manufacturing, wherever dissolved CO2 must be removed from a beverage sample before it can be tested or analyzed by a connected quality control instrument.
