Bottle Tilt Testing: Measuring Fall and Slide Angles with the BTT-1
How far can a bottle tilt before it falls or slides? The BTT-1 by AT2E measures this tilt resistance with two tests, fall angle and slide angle. Tilt angle and speed are set on a touch screen, and non-contact sensors automatically detect falls or slides on up to 10 bottles.
Two tests: fall angle and slide angle
Fall angle test: bottles up to 340 mm high.
Slide angle test: bottles up to 500 mm high.
Settings: the test is started, and the tilt angle and tilt speed are adjusted, on the touch screen.
Detection: non-contact visual sensors automatically detect falls or slides during the test.

Frequently asked questions
What is the primary function of the BTT-1 Bottle Tilt Tester?
The BTT-1 measures the resistance of individual and stacked bottles to tilt, simulating transport conditions to determine the angle at which bottles fall, used in glass, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics quality control.
How many bottles can the BTT-1 test at once?
The BTT-1 accommodates up to 10 bottles simultaneously using an adjustable bar, with non-contact visual sensors that automatically detect falls and an optional collection drawer for broken pieces and liquid.
How are tilt parameters set on the BTT-1?
The BTT-1's tilt angle and speed are adjusted directly through a touchscreen interface. The stainless steel frame is liquid-resistant and CE marked, running on AC 110-240 V, 50/60 Hz.
