With the ABSD-1, the operator can automate the sampling process. For example, the operator first adjusts the insertion depth of the sampling tube, then installs the sample, closes the door, and presses the button on the touchscreen. The drilling and sampling process then proceeds automatically, and the sample is forced out into the sampling line for CO2, O2 output, and other analyses and tests.
