The SeamCheck Plus by AT2E is an automatic double seam projector for can inspection. Used with an AT2E seam saw, it gives a clear image of the seam section, and its SeamCheck software positions the measurement lines automatically and completes the measurement in 1 second.
How the inspection works
Cut the can seam with an AT2E seam saw (ANSS-2, SS-1 or SS-2) to obtain a clear seam section.
Place the sample on the platform: the UHD CCD camera captures the seam profile image.
The software positions the measurement lines automatically (auto-measure function) and completes the measurement in 1 second.
The results and label lines are marked directly on the image, and an alarm warns when a value is out of specification.
Results and images are saved in the database, can be reviewed at any time and exported as an Excel file.

The AT2E SeamCheck Plus automatic double seam projector provides a convenient way to carry out seam inspection. Its optimized design makes the projector smaller and more flexible to set up. The latest UHD CCD camera provides a higher image resolution and definition, and with the enhanced image contrast, the SeamCheck Plus obtains a better seam profile image. Used with an AT2E seam saw and the professional SeamCheck software, it delivers a fast and accurate seam measurement.
