Description :
The SCT-D Stress Cracking Tester was developed to test the stress cracking resistance of PET packaging, primarily blow-molded bottles, intended for carbonated beverages. The test pressurizes bottles immersed at their bases in a caustic soda (aqueous sodium hydroxide) solution within a secure chamber to assess bottle aging.
